German Glass Glitter:
n: A glitter that originated from Germany, and is made from
shards of glass. It comes in a variety of colors, and a variety of
grades/sizes. Originally it was used on ornaments, nowadays
primitive artists like to use it on anything from tags to snowballs
and other fabric items.
Gingham:
n: A
yarn-dyed cotton fabric woven in stripes, checks, plaids, or solid
colors.
Gusset:
n: A small, usually triangular piece of fabric inserted into
a seam to improve the fit, add breadth, reduce stress, or to
reinforce.
Grungy/Grubby:
adj.: A term used by primitive artists to describe an item
that has been dyed, stained, rubbed down with sandpaper, or rubbed
with spices to make the item look old and worn.
