Crafter of the Month:
Our featured crafter for this month is Kim DeWalt of Old Road
Primitives.

My name is
Kim DeWalt, and I live in a small town in Idaho. I have
always been a WAHM (Work at Home Mom)... even though my
children are raised, I’m still a WAHM! My husband is in the
Timber Industry, I travel with him all over the state (and
sometimes other states) in the summer, staying in our RV. My
pattern business gives me the opportunity to travel with my
husband and still bring in a little income.

I’ve always
had a creative mind and a knack for creating things. I’ve
done craft shows for over 25 years. In the summer of 2000, I
found a new creative outlet: the Internet! I joined eBay
that summer, and started selling address labels. That’s when
I discovered “Primitives” and I have been addicted every
since! Last spring I finally decided to turn my handmade
“Prim” goods into patterns. I opened my website, Old Road
Primitives in January; but I also sell patterns by the name
"Cabin Creek Primitives". It has been a fun venture and I
have met some great ladies along the way!
