cool i am actually looking for seeds right now is it easy to grow or does it need a lot of pampering???

Well, I ordered the seeds, started them in some containers, old pans etc. (actually my dh did, I was afraid I'd kill them from the beginning!) then when they were about 4" he transplanted them to the garden. They were bushier with more planted closer together or in clumps. When I put like on or two plants together, the grew taller and more spindly.I would think from the way they came up, that just putting the seeds in the ground and keep it watered pretty good until they get going is all you would need to do, after that no pampering needed... I'm not sure when to cut them to dry or preserve. I am posting on the community to ask what to do! I did read on one of the posts that someone planted the tops I think, and they were supposed to grow that way... We'll get a discussion going over there, I think I've posted too much here!LOL!

well Joyce my sweet annie did not grow and I had 250 seeds!! I don't know what I did wrong. What kind of soil do you have?

Sorry I am just now answering this! We have pretty good black dirt, no clay or anything. Did you start yours in a small pot first? That seemed to do the trick this year.
