This is a test shape I stained with a molasses mixture. Mix 1/4 cup molasses with 3/4 cup water and 1-2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Add in a few drops of scented oil if desired. Refrigerate the mixture for a few hours in a closed jar before using it; this way the extra molasses will settle to the bottom. Once it’s cold, you can paint it onto your item as usual; then you can either bake or let air dry. :0)
