This has been my project this week . I have wanted one of these FOREVER and finally took the leap and made it . It took me almost all afternoon monday to put it together and then a day to paint and sand and stain it . It is 6ft long and 7ft high and 2ft deep .Tonight I am putting a pegboard on the very top back of it to hang things from . It is so nice to go into my front room and see something ...it has been empty since we moved in a year ago . Just in case anyone is curious about the cost of materials I thought I would let you know that is was only 65$ for the wood to make it .

You did a great job, and that in itself is pricesless. It probably would have been over double that price if you had to buy it. I commend you for the courage to do the project yourself. Again. GREAT JOB!

Great job. I love your deacons bench. And actually it would cost a few hundred $ to buy one already made. Atleast around here it would.
