I created my own stencil to create these shaker boxes. Painted, sanded, then rubbed brown antiquing gel all over the outside and inside of it. Smile

I love these boxes and it is so easy to create and make your own stencils, doncha think? You do a fab job girlfriend..........

Thanks Martha! It took me a while to create the stencil, had to sit there and cut out every little hole with an exacto knife... then you have to worry about making a mistake, cause there's no starting over! lol

These are beautiful, Kristal! Have you ever tried using a manilla folder to make the stencil? My husband accidentally bought a HUGE box of folders at Sam's Club only to discover they were the legal size (he wanted the standard). So I inherited it and have found ALL kinds of uses for them. Stenciling is one of them. Then you don't have to worry about wasting that expensive stenciling sheet if you make a mistake.
